dda’s creative team started working with Age Concern in 2005/6, having been appointed to help with print advertising and direct mail. Having successfully worked with them on several integrated campaigns, the team was asked to devise a brand new fundraising initiative – The Great Sunday Lunch.

The Great Sunday Lunch is all about getting together with your family‚ friends‚ neighbours and colleagues to enjoy lunch‚ and raising money for Age Concern. The campaign included print, online, and radio advertising.

RESULTS

In 2008, 120 local Age Concerns took part in The Great Sunday Lunch initiative partnered by Aunt Bessie’s. 3,500 members of the public enquired about how to get involved. Together local Age Concerns, the initiative’s partner, and most importantly, the public, raised over £60,000.
